Mom Wordbook With The Cricut

This is my first word book that I made with my Cricut. This is for my mom's birthday and I am happy with how it turned out. I used cereal boxes for the chipboard and the silver words and letters are made from soda can aluminum cut or embossed with my cuttlebug. I also used ribbon, pearls, flowers, crystals, and other embellishments to decorate. I designed this in design studio. If you would like the cut file leave your email and I will send it to you! Challenges I am entering my word book in...
The Pink Elephant- Aqua
How Much Is Too Much- 12 Things
Die Cuts R Us- Double Duty (Multiple pages in book)
Creative Card Crew- April Showers Bring May Flowers
Cricutters Anonymous- Picnic (Flowers)
Gingersnap- Botanical, The Good Earth (Blue/Flowers)
Penny's Paper- Anything Goes
Saturday Challenge- Distressing
Pile It On- Make It Sweet (I think of tea with sugar as sweet!!)
Kaboodle- Embossing
All Sorts- Butterfly Inspiration Pic
Our Creative Corner- Beautiful Blossoms
Bizzy Becs Creatalicious- Flowers and Wings
Double Dutch- Mum's The Word
Fantabulous Cricut- Mothers Day
Pollycraft- Make your own flowers
Sisterhood of Scrap- Flowers
Shabby Tea Room- Comforts of Home Photo Inspiration

Papertake Weekly- Do Something Different
Spoon Full of Sugar- 3D Something
Tuesday Taggers- Memories
I also wanted to share some quotes I found about mothers:
A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts. ~Washington Irving

Mother - that was the bank where we deposited all our hurts and worries. ~T. DeWitt Talmage

A little girl, asked where her home was, replied, "where mother is." ~Keith L. Brooks

Youth fades; love droops; the leaves of friendship fall; A mother's secret hope outlives them all. ~Oliver Wendell Holmes

Most of all the other beautiful things in life come by twos and threes, by dozens and hundreds. Plenty of roses, stars, sunsets, rainbows, brothers and sisters, aunts and cousins, comrades and friends - but only one mother in the whole world. ~Kate Douglas Wiggin

I cannot forget my mother. [S]he is my bridge. When I needed to get across, she steadied herself long enough for me to run across safely. ~Renita Weems

All that I am or ever hope to be, I owe to my angel Mother. ~Abraham Lincoln

"The most important thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother."
-- Theodore Hesburgh
